The World of Concept Art The Idea My main goal for this Blog chapter is to discover, analyse and explain: Why are the weapons memorable in videogames. How and why they are designed that way, and why that particular style is used. In designing the iconic elements in games, what does the designer have to do, how does the concept artist design the weapon, how do they maintain the core elements, how do they make them iconic, how they create memorable prop designing. Why is that weapon important, the story behind it, the gameplay elements that brings, the distinct artistic design used, the shape, form and elements of concept for a particular weapon. Today is the final day of the four week project, I decided to focus on making sure all my gun parts are fully textured and ready to be showcased. These are the fully textured Weapons: Gun A Gun B Gun C These are the weapons in Unreal Engine 5. These are the main body parts. The Guns parts are very simple looking and their textures are blocked out colours, I'm not particular happy with the texture, and I will have to improve my texturing skills in the following days. I will focus on creating high poly version of each individual peace for each components and baking them on these ones. Recreating the textured and making sure to add more details for each weapons. I was searching for various modular packs for Building and environment. I found this artwork on Artstation. I want the island surrounded by water, with a volcano area, a shipwreck area, a village, a fort and a magic tower. Various caves and secret underground tunnels across the island.
