Soul Casters in 3D

Image
I imported a card in Maya and i'm trying to make it as a 3D card,  My goal is to make the Card 3D, with an interactable functionality so that i can Switch Card during the gameplay in Unreal Engine. The card is readable, this shows that my photoshop format is good, now i'm trying to make sure that i can create a simple effective way of maintaining the card and making it playable, then I need to make different cards. This is the base 3D mesh for the cards once i completed the border i tested it on the card art Front Back The UV map This is how it would look in game I imported the model in Unreal Engine 5, and the model is actually small just like a real trading card. I then imported a table model from Sketchfab in unreal engine I then imported the other cards, to test the quality of the artwork, and I applied some textures on the table model. I made a quick Video showcasing this These are the Cards faced upside down on the Table I'm not very fluent with Blueprints, so I hav

Designing the Board for my card game

Image
I quickly made a back for the cards in photoshop. I used some image I found from google of a scroll and I add a filter to make it black, then I downloaded a font from Dafont and named it Soul Casters, and that is the name of my game. I made some variants of the back, this is the grey one I also have a blue one, and overall, I like this version more, it give it a bit of personality. Then I proceeded to make a layout for the board in Photoshop. I created some simple background card for the board, these helps the player understand what card go were during the game. Here are a few different colour tonalities I choose this design because the board doesn't distract too much from the cards, the darker tonalities makes the cards show up more. Here is an example how a card in the board, these are summoned creatures, one in the graveyard, the deck on the deck zone, and a spell on the field face down.

Creating a TCG Card Game

I started working on a card game, I want to include my models in this game as form of equipment cards. This is the first card I created, I used Photoshop to make the base of the card and I used Leonardo.AI to generate an artwork based on a prompt description. Then I found some vector icons used them to make the various  These are placeholder cards, I need them as creature card to equip my weapons. I made some other cards with the similar format I made some icons for the cards Adjusting the cards, I realized that I missed key information for the card, like who design it, the game name, and the edition of the card

Vampire Cathedral

I want to make a scene in unreal engine, around the Blood Drinker I gathered some image reference, and I started working on Unreal Engine 5. I followed this tutorial to create a night scene with the moon The textures of the weapon look bad, and the colour is variating to orange, I will come back and fix the textures issue on a later moment, the model looks good. The coffin model need some textures improvement I also imported my stained glass, I need to make more of these. I quickly created some simple walls in maya, so that I can cover the stained glass, and build around my scene in unreal. I need to work on the lighting, for now i'm trying to capture the tone and mood of the scene. I raised up the window and adjusted the lights a bit I add a Chandelier model from Sketchfab to test different type of lights and how they would work in the scene, i don't like how it looks like, the contrast ruins the vampire thematic I was going for. I adjusted the light tonalities, to match th
