The Start of Four Week Project

 My Lecture told me to make 5 different modular weapons, model them, uv, texture and imported in UE5 for next week, I took it as challenge and started working on the spot. I created a quick guideline: GUN A Assault Rifle GUN B Shotgun GUN C Pistol GUN D Submachine Gun  GUN E Sniper As soon as the lecture was over I went back in Maya and I started working on Gun A, I want to create a Sci-fi energy gun. back on Pinterest looking for endless  ideas . I came Across  Lyra  on UE5, I  watched  some tutorial to understand how the Engine worked, I may use it in the future for my game. The next step is to create the actual weapons for the game. I made a couple of quick mood boards for the style and look. The first thing to do is to separate the gun types and the parts, then mix a bit of creativity. Going back to Maya

Autodesk Maya I got in class and talked a bit with my fellow comrades, made new friends and then I took over my new pc in class. Connected the various wires to the monitor to use the Wacom drawing screen.  I was very exited to be back designing games again. I started my current work with Autodesk Maya 23, my focus for this year is to create interesting 3D Models to showcase my skills as an artist. My main goal for today is to make a model and import it on Unreal Engine 5 , this software got a massive update, I had some some to  watch  UE5 tutorial on my previous job. The last time I used Maya was more than a year ago, I logged into my PC and  turned on Maya 23, I was ready to test myself and see if I still got the skills to create 3D Models. A place to find Art I went on Pinterest and created an  Account and a various a set of Mood boards for my project. My first Idea was to create a Modular Car System, so I created my  Pinterest Cars Ideas  list. I had a few ideas and different models of cars that I wanted to create in a modular system. Here are some of my Pinterest ideas for the cars/robots design and look: Sharknando  (Monster truck + Shark) Wings of Fate  (Jet + Eagle) Stinger  (Scorpion + Low ride) Turbowolf  (Wolf + Quadbike) After some time researching modular 3D models of cars, robots and vehicles, I came to the conclusion that there won't be enough time to create the entire system with complex models like cars. so I went with an alternative. I went looking for various weapons and I decided to focus on modular guns instead. I did the same process of researches and created a few mood boards for guns.  I studied at Uclan in Game Design and I graduated in 2021, I took a break to dedicate on my personal grown and I decided to return to University to complete my in Master at Game Design. This is a quick mesh of me trying to make a low poly character. I have a great understanding of the 3D environment and specialized in making prop assets, weapons and armours for games.
