Alien Laboratory - Blueprints

  I uploaded a Katana Mesh from Sketchfab Into the Robot, to check for the size, and position, for better gameplay and unique visuals. I uploaded a Robot Mesh I got from Sketchfab into Unreal Engine, to see how it would fit in my game, I'm really happy with the results: I think it looks sick I tried replacing the mannequin with the Robot, but the FBX File has the mesh rotated by 90 degree towards the ground on a side. This is not good because I need to adjust the Rotation. I imported the model in Both Blender and Maya In Blender  In Maya I need to adjust the rotation accordingly to Unreal Engine I tried asking for some Help on Discord, Amar was suggesting me to create a new blueprint and rotate the mesh, but I would still have to retarget all the animations again. I spent some time researching the mechanics, luckily I found help along the way, I also watched tutorials to understand some blueprint logic, but it wasn't easy, I asked my friend Amar Sen to help me with the proce

The Laboratory Game Mechanics

 Mechanics Combat system Mixed Melee and Ranged weapons Switch between melee and ranged weapon, unused weapon shows on the character's back Weapon switching (animation)  Aim offsets for ranged weapons Bullet/melee impact sounds and VFX Health system for player and enemies Enemy AI Enemy Death, New Enemy Spawn Interface, Main Menu, UI, Icons, Bullet Counters, Health Bar The Game Must Be Playable with Xbox Controller Player Stats These are visible on the interface, The player can see the Health Bar (Red) and Stamina Bar (Green). Pirate Ship Blockout Level

 I worked with a Team of Indie Desiner, they asked me to add textures, meshes and effects to a blockout Level. I imported Some meshes From my Unreal Engine 5 library, and I imported them into the project. I started adjusting the textures and Placing the meshes into the Level. I started Placing Meshes All around the Ship It took me 2 hours but I managed to make the Blockout level a bit more interesting. I followed a tutorial on YouTube to add water to the Level.  Then I created simple blueprints and placed them into the level I also placed meshes to make the model look like a ship.

The Backrooms - Level Showcase

 I use the Old Witch Trials game project and created a different level using the same blueprints. I searched for The Backrooms  images in google for reference. I downloaded a 3D Model scene from Sketchfab and unloaded it into Unreal Engine 5. I made a video Showcasing this Level on YouTube .

Alien Laboratory Part 3

 I followed this tutorial to Create CCTV Cameras in my level. I imported Some Models from Sketchfab to have something interesting in the background. The Textures files had a image file _ORM that was Orange I followed this video to import the textures correctly. I also added an  Holographic Table  to my Level from Sketchfab. I also Imported some 3D model from Sketchfab to use for weapons in the Game. Sci-Fi Katana Model Assault Rifle Model I also Placed some Turrets Models I also add a Launching Pad Mesh from Sketchfab Then I followed this tutorial to add make it functional into the game.

Island Narrative Game: Orosca

 I'm creating a new Level on Unreal Engine. I used assets packs that I brought for a previous Project: Coral Cove. This is a new world, I am currently working with other artist to implement story elements in this game. I decided to work on the Level Design and create an Island according to the Narrative team description. ENVIRONMENTS Ship/shipwreck: (physically inside the crumbling ship) –Sloop of war ship that has taken on significant damage (ensure it’s unusable) –Area of the first/tutorial puzzle where the mentor is showing how to use the powers. –Limited exploration of this environment/more on rails.  Island: Shoreline (off the coast of the wreck), Jungle/Forest (obscured path to the Volcano), Other side of the forest/path to the Volcano –The whole location is set in Orosca, our fantasy equivalent of the underworld. It is only populated with the vestiges of the living world.  Volcano (the perilous)  Inside of volcano with a shrine at it’s centre. “eye of the storm”. ite

Unreal Engine Mesh Collision

 Once the 3D model is ready and imported in Unreal Engine,  The mesh will collide with the player Character to avoid this, double click on the imported mesh and on Details, find Collision Complexity and change it to Use Complex Collision As Simple.

Alien Laboratory Part 2

 I continued working on the Laboratory I started creating interactable parts, for the scene to look more interesting. I used a reference . Then I Exported the FBX files to Unreal Engine 5
